This ministry has been set motion by God to help Christian women struggling with issues in their emotional & relational health related to trauma in order to recover the peace & joy the Lord promised to give His daughters, so they can enter their own person Promised Land promised to them by their Father.
We are looking to live the life God has for us, and we believe His Word shows us how to get there.
Christians, He has promised us a life of hope, of joy, of fellowship with Him. Yet, tragedies and traumas come & can knock us off of our rooted home of safety. And this can lead to all kinds of emotional & relationship problems.
We have answers for that in the Truth He set forth in the Bible. There is a roadmap home, laid out in His Word, which this ministry will guide you down, if you are willing to come honestly. 💚
OUR FOUNDER
My name is Amy Georges. I am a wife & mom of 2 teenage boys : ) and one super pup (aka “The Fluppy”). 😜
I have been asking God, since I was a teenager, “What is the universal pain in humanity that I can work in my life to help relieve?”
I spent my time working with and studying issues related to race, education, connection to God in relationship and serving those in poverty in South America.
What I found was U-N-I-V-E-R-S-A-L was distress in the human soul, heart and mind. ♥️ I saw Christians, who KNOW the Creator of the Universe in deep, deep distress year after year. It was so clear to me…..If you are anywhere in the world, look any way, have any background & any amount of access to resources, family support & education – what we all have in common is TRAUMA.
When trauma comes, the goal is to insert fear into our soul. And God means to set us free of its effects.
After all, God says He has “not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7 So, why is there so much struggle if we have this promise from God Himself?
Well, we are in a period in human history when we have a Savior Who came to bring us salvation from our every struggle AND we also know “the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” – 1 Peter 5:8.
This battle leaves us with an enemy prowling and a Savior whose salvation is available to anyone who opens the door to Him….
“Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me.” – Revelation 3:20
What this means is that we have (1) an enemy who is aggressively seeking to harm us & (2) A Savior Who is waiting to give us all He has for us, but we need to open the door. Without many realizing this position we are in, the attacks of the enemy can have great effect, and we need to approach the Lord & His Word for our relief.
The Good News is that the answers have been right in front of us all along. In working with our ministry, you will find that so many beautiful scriptures you ALREADY KNOW carry inside of them secrets to unlock the peace we have been promised.
HOW DO WE ACCESS THIS FREEDOM?
Sisters Devoted offers several ways to help you get to this place of promise. We offer resources throughout the year, such as challenges, workshops, and a course and membership upcoming.
In addition, we offer coaching to help you understand how these revelations apply to YOU.
There are ways to come home you may not yet have found.
If you have served for years, believed for decades, trusted for ages – even taught Bible studies yourself – know all the “right” scriptures, but know there is more – come with us on the journey.
You may you new to the Lord and ready to break old cycles and chains with the power of His Word. You know there is deeper connection you seek from your relationships with your sisters. You know there is more honesty you need in sharing all that really goes on with you – in your mind, in your heart, all day & late at night…and you need a place to do that.
We are here to share those realities with you & help bring you back home – to who God meant for you to be – free & in His love always.
